Furlough Calculation September and October 2020

Modified on Tue, 29 Sep, 2020 at 9:11 AM

Although you may only reclaim 70% from HMRC in September (60% in October), you must still pay your Employee(s) 80%.  In order to make this as easy as possible for you, we have continued to show the calculation as 80% on the Employee Payslip.  However, on the Furlough report (available for Assisted Service and Managed Service users only) the appropriate calculation of 70% for September and 60% for October will be shown.

The table below shows the changes for each month. In October employers will have to contribute 20% of the furlough amount with only 60% being claimed back from HMRC.
